We hereby declare that our company complies with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2018/848, in particular Articles 28 and 29. In order to prevent contamination with non-authorized substances and to facilitate a rapid response in the event of suspicion or detection, we confirm the following:
A documented risk analysis has been carried out to identify possible contamination risks within our processes. Based on this analysis, precautionary measures have been implemented to prevent contamination with substances not permitted under organic legislation. These measures are part of our internal quality system and are reviewed and updated regularly. Relevant organic control points have been defined and their application is monitored and documented.
All relevant sub-suppliers, including agricultural producers and intermediaries, have been informed of the requirements of organic production and have been contractually obliged to comply with them. Documentation confirming the implementation of these obligations is available and can be provided upon request.
In the event that a non-authorized substance is detected—whether through our own testing or external analysis—a defined process is in place to assess the finding, document our conclusions, and notify the relevant control body or authority without delay. All necessary documentation will be made available for official investigation. If applicable, confidential information from sub-suppliers can be submitted via a designated trustee (e.g. a control body or legal representative).
Where recurring traces of non-authorized substances have been observed, we are able to provide expert reports that confirm the nature, level, and origin of the contamination. These reports demonstrate that no intentional use has taken place and that the contamination is unavoidable under current conditions.
We understand that failure to comply with these requirements may result in marketing bans or regulatory actions, and we are committed to full cooperation with the competent authorities and control bodies where necessary.
